Wait, so the Nobel is now an affirmative action prize for some folks?

Thomas Sowell, to my knowledge, has not been awarded a Nobel prize. That man does more before noon than some folks have done in 8 years. I wasn't aware that being a community activist was worthy of one of the most revered, respected and prestigious prizes on Earth. But apparently it is. If they are being awarded for this type of activity, then I have a whole list of folks who should be considered for the prize. Is the Nobel one of the first entities to go woke in 2009? Granted, its reported that he did not really want to accept the prize, kudos for him to know that he hadn't done anything worthy of such an honor. Refusing the prize would be in poor taste. So he was kind of in a catch-22. I'm not slamming him for accepting the prize, he kind of had to. But I am slamming the Nobel committee for doing something that shouldn't have been done in the first place. In fact, a few members of that committee have admitted to what I've just said...that before the awarding of the Nobel to him, he hadn't done enough to have earned it. They were tying to 'strengthen' him by awarding him this prize. I was unaware that the Nobel could be awarded to actions
'to-come'. I thought the prize was awarded after deeds were done. My mistake.
Regardless, this sounds an awful lot like affirmative action. Being awarded some type of benefit, before you prove your self. The universities are full of this type of meritless awarding, as is the job market.
Survival of the unfittest and un-natural selection.
