Dear Minneapolis, here are a few pointers to help prevent such horrific tragedies from repeating:

What happened to Mr. Wright is a horrific tragedy. A young man, life ended, family suffering, friends mourning, a community loses another young black man.
Is there anything that we are not talking about? Is there anything missing in ANY of these tragedies?
I could be wrong, I state this now. But so far, from what I've read, Mr. Wright had some input with regard to this outcome.
-expired DL. This is illegal for us ALL.
-warrant for his arrest
-this warrant was for armed robbery
-allegedly robbing, at GUN POINT, an unarmed WOMAN/landlord
-allegedly choking her twice
-allegedly putting his hand inside/near her bra where she kept the money he was after
-allegedly telling her he would kill her if she didn't give him the money
He was arrested, released from jail on $40k bond
-skipped court date
-was not allowed to possess a firearm, due to the armed robbery charges
All this was BEFORE he was pulled over by the po po
-when the officers were placing him in cuffs, the female officer said he had a 'warrant'
-Mr. Wright resisted arrest
-got in is car, AND...
This is where the officer yelled 'taser taser taser', grabbed the wrong weapon and tragically shot Mr. Wright, fatally, in the chest. Very sad and unfortunate. But was there any input or repeated decisions that Mr. Wright made, since 2019?
Was the officer, knowing what she knew about the nature of his prior arrest and potentially being armed, supposed to just 'trust' Mr. Wright, after he resisted arrest and went to his car?
All of you fat, lazy and entitled couch potatoes that have never been is a situation like this, where so much adrenaline and fear is making your heart beat out of your chest, mouth dry as a bone, vomit creeping up the back of your throat...shut the eff up. You whiney little snowflakes. You have NO IDEA what this feeling is like.
Those of you that do know what I'm taking about are most likely the ones wanting more information on this case...as you know there has to be more to the story than what the msm is saying. Something just never feels complete about these cases.
When you dig deeper, there is almost always substantial input from the 'victim' that leads them to a negative interaction with someone else, in this case, a police officer.
And no, don't come back at me and say that Mr. Wright was in fear of his life, thats why he tried to flee and escape arrest. Nope. What about the woman he choked at gun point?
You think she was scared? You think he gave a sh*t about her? He sure was brave when he had the gun pointed at a woman and had his homies with him. Balls of steel he had.
So NO, that is complete and total BS. If the allegations are true, and he did indeed rob a woman at gun point, with his homie(s), then he was a coward and had major input into his own death. If he didn't do this, I stand corrected.
Either way, a sad and unfortunate death of a young man. But not an innocent young man.
Sadly, nobody is talking about the number of black folks killed in Chicago this past summer.
I simply don't understand this. If murder is the issue, then why not the same outcry in Chicago?
Well, because murder isn't why the media throws fuel on the fire. Same with the obama tweet from around 10a on 4-13-21....BEFORE any of the details were released. And you're a lawyer dude, you should know better. But nope, stir up the hornets nest before any details are discovered. PER USUAL. obama, why not move back to Chicago, into the hood, so you can help mentor some of these young men? Your words sure are strong, coming from nice big house, guarded by secret service...after this country voted you into the highest office in world, TWICE !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Don't play victim now, your true character, or lack thereof, is on full display...and so is your agenda.
Please, obama, don't become a reverend.
Don't morph into Dr. Rev. Jesse Obama-Sharpton, III, Esq. The title and role are overplayed.
Regardless, here are a few simple rules/suggestions that have been shown to work...taken from a previous post:
A few simple rules for the 'STOP'
1. Don’t be a criminal. 2a. Don’t be committing a crime. (see #1) 2b. Do not have committed a crime 15 minutes ago (see #1)
2c. Do not have an expired drivers license. (see #1) 3. Don’t have a warrant. (see #1) 4. Don’t be intoxicated in a car (see #1) 5. Do as your told. 6. Don’t resist or flee. 7. Don’t assault the officer. (see. #1) 8. Don’t have an illegal weapon or illegal drugs. (see #1) 9. Don’t reach for a legal weapon. 10. Don’t make a move that will lead the officer to think that you’re reaching for a weapon. 11. Don’t violate others’ rights to exercise your own.
